Basic Information

This here’s just some basic information about the site for anyone who is wondering. First and foremost, this is an intermediate-advanced horse role-play, in case you didn’t already know that. This forum is based off the old forum of the same name, Sonnet of the Wild, which was run by Sanora. I made this site with permission from Sanora as a continuation of the old one in an attempt to bring in new members as well as the old ones. The old plot never really got off the ground, so I'm hoping that the new one will. Sanora's got a real hectic life, and Yager and I still have too much time on our hands, so we'll be the two main admins of this one, instead of Sanora. By the way, in case any old members didn't already figure it out, this is Joker, and Moth is Yager. So yeah, I hope that everyone likes the new plot and hopefully this time the site will keep on staying active. And that's all I got to say about that.

A word about the set up of the forum, because I took the liberty of modifying it a bit from how the old site was set up. Most of the boards are the same, except I changed their position or altered slightly the description. Because of this, I feel that it’s necessary to give some small explanation of how I set all this up. Each category is a section of the valley, north, south, east, and west. North, south, and east are the three lands claimed by an alliance, light, dark, and neutral respectively. West is what used to be called Wander, which is the unclaimed lands where horses without a herd or herd land go. In each of the three claimed areas, the first board in each (Aiyana, Geert, and Jarvinia) is meant to encompass the entire land, meaning any posts there could be happening anywhere in that alliance’s land, it’s up to whoever is posting to decide. The other boards are all the herd lands that are up for grabs, one of each being the monarch herd land where the king of each alliance will reside (Molla, Perso, and Toddömane) and the rest are for normal lead stallions. Other than that, I think the role-playing boards are plenty self explanatory, but feel free to ask if you have any further questions, I’ll be happy to help.

And for right now, I can’t think of anything else that I need to explain, and I’ve already written quite a lot here, so I’ll let anyone who actually stopped to read this get back to their day. I may add more to this later if any other issues arise that I see need more explanation. Consider this a type of F.A.Q., so I’ll add anything that I get asked about on a regular basis. Hopefully all this will help clear up any questions y’all may have, and of course, feel free to let me know if I failed miserably at doing that. I’ll be glad to try again at answering questions. Hopefully all y’all know by now that I don’t bite (hard).
